Using pre-cut paper shapes of lemons, suns, and lemonade pitchers, residents will string together a festive banner. This collaborative project allows for individual artistic expression while contributing to a larger, cheerful decoration for the picnic dinner's main display area.
Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to foster a sense of community and shared accomplishment. It provides a relaxed social setting for residents to chat and reminisce while engaging in a creative task. The project encourages fine motor skill use, offers an opportunity for self-expression, and gives residents a tangible way to contribute to the festive atmosphere of an upcoming community event. Seeing their completed banner on display instills a sense of pride and belonging.
