Unleash your inner artist at our no-carve pumpkin decorating party! Each resident will receive their own personal-sized pumpkin to paint and embellish with a variety of fun craft supplies. Enjoy festive music and refreshments as you create a cheerful decoration for your door or window.
Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to provide a fun, creative outlet for residents, promoting self-expression and a sense of accomplishment. It encourages social interaction in a relaxed, festive setting, helping to build community connections. The process of painting and decorating also helps maintain fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Most importantly, it offers a joyful way to celebrate a season or simply enjoy a creative afternoon together, resulting in a personal decoration that residents can display with pride.

Decorations: A wide assortment of embellishments. Consider items like glitter, sequins, plastic jewels, googly eyes, ribbon, yarn, and permanent markers (for fine details).

Adhesives: Craft glue or a low-temperature hot glue gun (operated by staff only) for attaching heavier decorations.
Protective Gear: Disposable tablecloths for tables and aprons or old shirts for residents to wear.
Refreshments: Simple, festive snacks and drinks like apple cider, cookies, or fruit platters.
Ambiance: A portable speaker to play upbeat, themed, or relaxing background music.
