Reconnect with the hobbies and passions that have brought you joy throughout your life. Through guided reminiscence and a 'Passion Mapping' activity, we will identify past interests and brainstorm creative, accessible ways to re-engage with them today.
Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to foster a sense of purpose, identity, and joy among residents. By looking back on cherished hobbies and accomplishments, participants can reconnect with the core of who they are. The goal is not just to reminisce, but to translate those past passions into new, fulfilling activities that fit their current lifestyle. This process can boost self-esteem, combat feelings of apathy, and build deeper social connections as residents discover shared interests.
