Begin our month of gratitude with a lovely hands-on craft. Residents will decorate their own personal "Gratitude Jar" using provided glass jars, ribbons, paint pens, and other cozy craft supplies. To close, we'll write down our first thankful thought of the month to place inside.

Purpose of the activity

This activity is designed to foster a sense of gratitude and mindfulness among residents. By creating a personal "Gratitude Jar," participants engage in a creative, hands-on process that serves as a beautiful physical reminder to notice the positive moments in their daily lives. It encourages reflection, positive thinking, and can be a wonderful conversation starter, strengthening community bonds as residents share what they are thankful for. This simple practice can enhance emotional well-being and provide a calming, joyful experience.
