Residents are invited to bring their favorite (or a newly discovered!) recipe featuring brandied fruit, or any fruit preserved in spirits. After a lively sharing session of the recipes and their origins, everyone can enjoy a tasting of various store-bought or staff-prepared brandied fruit samples, perhaps even paired with cheese and crackers.

Purpose of the Activity

This activity is designed to create a warm and engaging social atmosphere. It encourages residents to connect with one another by sharing personal stories and family traditions centered around food. The experience stimulates memory and reminiscence, offers a delightful sensory experience through taste and aroma, and gives residents an opportunity to share their knowledge and feel a sense of valued contribution to the community.
