Teams of residents will be given a limited supply of Twinkies and toothpicks and challenged to build the tallest freestanding tower in a set amount of time. This activity promotes problem-solving, teamwork, and a whole lot of giggles as towers inevitably wobble and collapse.
Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to be a delightful blend of creativity, engineering, and pure fun. The primary goal is to foster social interaction and teamwork in a lighthearted, competitive setting. Participants will engage their problem-solving skills as they figure out the best way to construct a stable tower. The challenge also helps maintain fine motor skills and dexterity through the careful placement of Twinkies and toothpicks. Above all, it is an opportunity for residents to share laughter and create a memorable afternoon together.
