Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to foster a sense of community and connection among residents. By sharing stories, we aim to stimulate memory and conversation, encouraging reminiscence which is known to boost mood and cognitive function. The theme of "everyday heroes" promotes positive reflection, gratitude, and an appreciation for the simple, kind acts that shape our lives and communities. It gives residents a platform to honor people who have been meaningful to them, validating their life experiences and personal histories.
