Music BINGO

Brief Overview

A fun and nostalgic twist on the classic game of BINGO! Instead of calling out numbers, we play short clips of popular songs from the 1950s and 60s. Residents listen to the music and cover the corresponding song title on their unique BINGO card. The first to get five in a row wins a prize and bragging rights!

Materials Needed

🎵 50s & 60s Playlist (30 Songs): Create a playlist on a music streaming service (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, etc.) or download the songs. A sample playlist is provided below.
🔊 Portable Speaker or Sound System: Ensure it's loud enough for everyone in the room to hear clearly.
🃏 Custom BINGO Cards: You will need to create these. Use a free online BINGO card generator (search "music bingo card generator") to automatically create multiple unique cards from your song list. Print one card per resident.
✒️ BINGO Markers: Use daubers, plastic chips, buttons, or even cut-up pieces of construction paper.
🏆 Small Prizes: Fun, simple prizes for the winners. Ideas include candy bars, small lotions, $5 gift cards to the community bistro, or fun-themed socks.
🎤 (Optional) Microphone: For the host to easily announce song titles.
📋 Master Song List: A printed list of all 30 songs for you to check off as you play them.
