Gaze upon the wonders of the pyramids and the Sphinx through large, clear pictures. We will discuss their grand size and shape, and then work together to build our own structures using large, soft, safe building blocks for a fun, collaborative, and tactile experience.
Purpose of the Activity
This activity is designed to provide a multi-faceted experience that benefits residents in several ways. It stimulates cognitive function through discussion and problem-solving, while the physical act of stacking blocks enhances motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Working together on a shared project fosters social connection and communication. The tactile nature of the blocks and the visual aids create a rich sensory experience, promoting engagement and reducing anxiety in a failure-free, joyful environment.
